After earning a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Master’s in Information Technology, I served for 9 years as a U.S. Army officer.  I left the Army to pursue a career in high tech.  A few years later, our family moved to Silicon Valley, and in 2001, we moved to Livermore, because of the outdoor beauty, and its reputation as a great place to raise a family.  More than 20 years later, I can honestly say that I have never regretted that decision. 

Having completed a career as an IT director for one of the largest software companies in the Bay Area, I’m deeply aware of the stress that work can place on your family.  But I can tell you from experience that the one thing that energized me each day was the knowledge that my family was able to thrive in a beautiful home and an amazing community.    

I have endless stories of the pure enjoyment of living in the East Bay and riding its miles and miles of cycling routes.  I look forward to sharing with you my in-depth knowledge of the various local neighborhoods.
